McDonald’s is driving free all-day breakfast bus around the UK this month

If you love McQue’s breakfast and want it served all day, there’s good news. A McDonald’s breakfast bus will tour the UK this month.

Breakfast menus in fast food restaurants usually end at 11am, but in 10 UK cities you can have breakfast between 11am and 4pm on certain days.

From today (10 October) the breakfast bus will be travelling to a variety of different university campuses, handing out free McMuffins. Students can choose from either egg and cheese, or bacon, egg and cheese, meanwhile there’ll be free Coke Zero samples, too.

You can find a full list of where the breakfast bus will be stopping below:

  • 10 October – Edinburgh Napier University
  • 11 October – University of Northumbria
  • 12 October – Sheffield University
  • 13 October – University of Leeds
  • 14 October – York University
  • 17 October – Nottingham Trent University
  • 18 October – Birmingham City University
  • 19 October – Cardiff Met University
  • 20 October – Bristol UWE University
  • 21 October – Portsmouth University

The first 100 students at each bus will receive some free McDonald’s merchandise – but if you want to snap up a free brekky, you will have to be quick, as there are only 2,000 McMuffins at each location up for grabs.

At the end of the two-week bus tour, the city with the most points will be chosen as the winner and entered into a prize draw. One of the prettiest college towns or lucky students in town, she wins a Chris Stark DJ set complete with McDonald’s food delicious food served from her van.

Students and residents can upload photos of themselves disposing of found waste responsibly to enter contests and earn points towards an overall city or community score.

contest will begin on October 10th at 10:00 am and will end on October 21st at 10:00 pm.
