A TikTok user named Mystee has received a cautionary note after uncovering a chilling find stemming from an enigmatic leak within their basement of two-century-old house in New York. Mystee documented the startling discovery with her husband on the video-sharing platform.
In a series of videos, a woman noticed a leak and water backing up in a random section of her basement. Her husband, Ken, joined in to explore the intriguing history behind the discovery. The woman, known as Mystee on TikTok, mentioned Ken’s family’s experience with eerie situations, believing it would be beneficial.
In her recent viral video, Mystee, deeply curious about history, shared peculiar findings—a sealed door in the basement leading to a room. “You can see the outline of a doorway,” she explained in the TikTok clip. Despite their familiarity with such occurrences, the couple lacked the necessary tools to address this particular situation.
“Fortunately, the cinder blocks are hollow inside, so we managed to navigate the initial part. However, we’re still struggling to progress through the second segment,” she explained.
“The obstacle hindering our progress is the room being filled with rocks.”
After conducting further investigation into the history of her residence, Mystee uncovered information suggesting that the room might have once been connected to a tunnel.
“I had no idea that my house had connections to the underground railroad,” she remarked, noting, “Upon researching Clarkson, we found confirmation—there’s a station just eight minutes away.”
Viewers flooded the TikTok video’s comments section, expressing a mix of fear and concern over the footage. Many recommended seeking professional assistance for the couple’s discovery.
One commenter shared, “I’ve never felt so spooked yet intrigued before.”
Another pondered, “Doesn’t it seem like that room was deliberately sealed off?”
A third person remarked, “Using such tiny tools seems inadequate for the job.”
Another advised, “Keep the sage burning; who knows what might be unleashed from there.”
Lastly, a user joked, “A bricked room in a 200-year-old house? That’s straight out of most ’80s horror flicks!”
