In the previous month, researchers exploring the Canadian seas found themselves at a loss for words when they stumbled upon a live ancient volcano adorned with the colossal eggs of an unidentified mysterious creature.
Hikers in Brazil recently stirred up speculation by capturing peculiar footage of ’10ft tall aliens’ observed from a hilltop. There’s an undeniable fascination with the mysterious.
Similarly, viewers of a recently circulated ‘live’ photograph on social media have been left unnerved as they notice something sinister subtly blending into the background. Runner Kay Borleis participated in the Hawaiian Ultra Running Team’s Trail 100-Mile Endurance Run around Oahu in 2019, covering a 20-mile loop through the Honolulu Mauka trails five times.
As a dedicated runner since her early teens, Borleis was accustomed to keeping her focus during competitive races.
For this reason, she unintentionally ventured into the alleged territory of a ‘Nightmarcher,’ with her friend capturing the heart-stopping moment on camera.
Recalling this segment of the trial, Borleis described it as particularly grueling due to numerous obstacles, such as thick tree roots and water crossings, that she had to navigate.
It was during her attempt to traverse these challenging terrains that, for the first time in her running journey, she suffered an injury to her foot.
The pain became unbearable, compelling Borleis to withdraw from the race and seek refuge in her accommodation, where her friends and family eagerly awaited her arrival.
Later, she requested her friend Cassie, who had been accompanying her as a pacer throughout the race, to share the captured content so that she could share the experience with her loved ones.
As Borlei scrolled through the photos, a chill ran down her spine and she felt a shiver of unease. Her blood turned cold when she noticed a mysterious, cloaked figure appearing in the background of a specific live picture.
“In retrospect, we remain baffled about its identity,” she later penned in a blog post discussing the enigmatic presence captured in the shadowy entity.
The video captures the silhouette emerging from a tree and passing by her. However, Borleis asserts that she has no recollection of observing anyone else on that section of the trail.
She clarified in her blog, “The absence of individuals on that trail is attributed to the mandatory clockwise direction for all runners. Additionally, tourists were not present at that early hour. Throughout our run, we didn’t encounter anyone for hours. Thus, we remain confident that no one else was in that vicinity.”
After conducting some research, she stumbled upon a tale surrounding a collective of spectral entities known as Nightmarchers that reportedly inhabit Hawaii.
These apparitions were said to embark on nocturnal journeys with the purpose of safeguarding individuals deemed so sacred that ordinary folks were forbidden from laying eyes on them, as per Honolulu Magazine.
The publication further noted that violating this prohibition carried severe consequences, often leading to death.
Supposedly, if a person were to encounter one of these enigmatic entities, the recommended course of action was to disrobe and lie face down to avoid direct eye contact, though fortunately for Borleis, she remained oblivious to this advice until after her return home.
