Diesel and Johnson have been central figures in the popular film series, with their on-screen chemistry and feud being beloved by fans. However, due to a conflict between the two actors, Johnson had previously stepped away from the franchise. Now, he is set to make a comeback for the final installment of the Fast series. When asked about The Rock’s presence in the upcoming film, the 56-year-old actor, who portrays Dominic Toretto, expressed that Hobbs’ return was crucial for the movie.

Diesel stated, “Bringing Hobbs back was a challenging task considering the vast universe that has been created in this franchise. To effectively tie up all the storylines, this character needed to be part of the mythology.”

The actor’s statement indicates that he is finally putting an end to their ongoing feud. Their uneasiness on the movie set in 2021 led to Johnson’s departure from the franchise.

Previously, The Rock officially confirmed his return by sharing a video on Instagram, as reported by Pinkvilla. In the video, Johnson announced, “Luke Hobbs will be returning to the Fast & Furious franchise. Your reactions from around the world to Hobbs’ return in Fast X have been incredibly overwhelming.”
