Enrique Tarrio, once the leader of the Proud Boys, received a 22-year prison sentence for his role in planning the 6 January 2021 US Capitol attack. This is the harshest punishment given to date for this event. Tarrio, 39, wasn't present at the Capitol on the day but was instrumental in mobilizing the far-right group.
