Terrified mum finds body of woman inside her son's bedroom

A mother was left in a state of intense fear after stumbling upon the lifeless body of a woman inside her son’s bedroom. The unsettling discovery occurred at approximately 1:15 am on Sunday, August 13th, when the mother, who remains unnamed, entered her son’s room due to a noticeable gas odor. This harrowing incident was reported by Rosario Cervantes, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.

Within the room, the mother encountered a distressing crime scene – a deceased woman wrapped in plastic sheeting. Originating from Los Angeles, California, the mother promptly contacted the police to report the shocking finding.

In response to the 911 call made by the mother, LAPD officers arrived at the residence in the early hours of Sunday morning. The house is situated in the 2200 block of Wall Street, as indicated by local reports. Paramedics were also present at the scene, and they swiftly confirmed the woman’s death. The deceased has been identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office as Hannah Rachel Collins, aged 30.

The duration of time that had passed since Collins’ demise before the mother discovered her lifeless body remains uncertain. The incident is currently under investigation as a homicide by authorities.

The son of the mother, who has yet to be publicly named, is being sought by the police. He has reportedly been recognized as a 26-year-old man, according to statements from the LAPD spokesperson. Additionally, a photograph of the individual involved in the case has not been disclosed by officials.
