In a thrilling turn of events, the Tennessee Titans staged a remarkable late comeback to secure a 28-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Initially trailing 27-13 with only four minutes and 34 seconds remaining, the Titans appeared headed for defeat. However, rookie quarterback Will Levis orchestrated a stunning turnaround, setting up late touchdowns for DeAndre Hopkins and Derrick Henry, ultimately securing the Titans’ first away win of the season.

Reflecting on the game, Levis expressed his confidence in the team’s potential throughout the season, stating, “I think we showed the type of team we always thought we could be this season,” in an interview with ESPN.

Levis, in only his sixth career start, initiated the comeback with a 75-yard drive culminating in a three-yard pass to Hopkins, followed by a two-point conversion throw to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, narrowing the deficit to six points.

Undeterred, the 24-year-old led another critical drive, connecting with Hopkins and Chigoziem Okonkwo to position the team for a score. Derrick Henry then powered over from three yards, stunning the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Levis, a second-round pick in the 2023 draft, emphasized the team’s resilience, stating, “Obviously, we’ve had some lows, but we’ve got a special locker room and special guys across the board. So glad that we were able to grind it out at the end there.”

Despite the dramatic win, the Titans remain at the bottom of the AFC South and face slim playoff chances. For the Dolphins, their first home defeat of the season hampers their opportunity to tie with the Baltimore Ravens for the best record in the AFC, with home advantage in the playoffs at stake.

In another Monday game, a 37-yard field goal by Randy Bullock with the final kick secured a 24-22 win for the New York Giants over the Green Bay Packers. The result guarantees a playoff berth for NFC leaders, the San Francisco 49ers, who defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-16 on Sunday. While the Packers retain the final playoff spot despite the loss, the Giants are now just one win behind a group of five teams, including Green Bay, in the race to reach the postseason.
