Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hinted that Joe Biden might not run for re-election in 2024 and was evasive when asked about Kamala Harris’ role as vice president.
While Pelosi gave non-committal answers regarding the future prospects of both Biden and Harris, she did commend Harris for representing the country well. Pelosi also dismissed a column in the Washington Post suggesting that neither Biden nor Harris should run in 2024. A recent poll indicated a significant portion of Americans, including many Democrats, feel Biden might be too old for a second term. However, Harris, during an interview, supported Biden’s ability to serve and expressed readiness to step into the presidential role if needed.
