Kanye West, now known as “Ye,” and his partner Bianca Censori have reportedly faced a ban from a Venice boat company due to their recent behavior aboard one of the company’s vessels.
In late August, photographs emerged of the rapper, Ye, and Australian architectural designer Censori enjoying a boat ride in Venice. Some of these images depicted the couple in compromising positions, with Ye having his trousers down and his backside exposed, while Censori appeared to be in a compromising position between his legs.
In response to the release of these photos, the boat company issued a statement, announcing that the high-profile couple would no longer be welcome on their future trips. Both Ye and Censori have been prohibited from using the services of Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, a company known for serving celebrity clients like Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and Ben Affleck. According to the company’s spokesperson, the boat’s driver was unaware of these inappropriate actions as they were focused on navigating the waterways and ensuring safety.
The statement also emphasized that had the driver witnessed any lewd behavior, they would have promptly intervened and reported the misconduct to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, a third person accompanied Mr. and Mrs. West on the taxi, obstructing the captain’s view to the rear of the boat, further distancing the company from such behavior and reinforcing the ban.
Representatives of Censori and Ye have been reached out to for comment on this matter.
The couple is reported to have had a non-legally binding ceremony earlier this year, following their first public appearance together in January. This ceremony occurred two months after Ye finalized his divorce from reality TV star Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children, following six years of marriage.
While Ye initially gained fame in the music industry in the early 2000s, known for hits like “Stronger” (2007) and “Waves” (2016), recent years have seen him embroiled in various controversies, shifting the spotlight away from his music and towards his erratic behavior and troubling remarks, including anti-Semitic comments. Notably, in 2022, Adidas, Balenciaga, and CAA all severed ties with the musician due to his offensive comments. He has also faced multiple suspensions of his Twitter account and made inflammatory statements on various platforms, causing significant backlash from fellow celebrities and the public.
Ye’s last music release was in February 2022 with the album “Donda 2,” which was exclusively available on his own streaming device, the Stem Player. Prior to that, he released his 10th studio album, “Donda,” in August 2021.
