Elon Musk will rescue People of Gaza with Starlink

Elon Musk and the Israeli government are in a dispute over Musk’s offer to provide satellite internet to Gaza. Musk, in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), expressed his willingness to support communications in Gaza for internationally recognized aid organizations using his SpaceX Starlink satellite network. The move came after a blackout in cellular and internet connectivity in Gaza, affecting communication and civilian recovery efforts during heavy aerial bombardment.

The Israeli communications minister, Shlomo Karhi, responded angrily, stating that Israel would use all means to fight against Musk’s offer, claiming that Hamas would use it for “terrorist activities.” Musk, in his reply, assured that Starlink terminals from Gaza had not attempted to connect with SpaceX’s constellation. He pledged to take extraordinary measures to confirm humanitarian use, including security checks with both the U.S. and Israeli governments before activating any terminal.

This situation follows Musk’s previous involvement in providing Starlink to Ukraine during Russia’s invasion. His actions and statements related to conflicts have stirred controversy, including a post that appeared to sympathize with Iran and his refusal to allow Starlink for a naval drone strike in Crimea.
