A 22-year-old TikTok sensation, who gained a significant following during the pandemic, has become the 43rd presenter of Blue Peter. Shini Muthukrishnan, hailing from Stafford, is set to make her debut on CBBC at 17:00 GMT this Friday. This marks her first venture into television presenting as she joins Abby Cook, Joel Mawhinney, and the canine co-host, Henry, on the iconic children’s show. Ms. Muthukrishnan, known for her lockdown videos celebrating her British, Indian, and Malaysian heritage, is a recent graduate in philosophy, politics, and economics from King’s College London.
