Set in the 1970s, some 40 years after the events of the first film, the nostalgic trailer features Ralphie’s friends Flick (Scott Schwartz) and Schwartz (RD Robb) and his nemesis Skat Farkus (Zack Ward) will be back too. In one scene, Ralphie takes his kids to his Higbee’s to see Santa.

Recalling a famous scene from the original film, he tells them, “Don’t let him kick you in the face.”

But unlike that movie, there is no Christmas Story filmed in Cleveland, regardless of what it looks like on screen. According to Variety, the sequel was filmed in Hungary.
