Holly Willoughby did not appear on the Thursday edition of the ITV show “This Morning” and was reported to be under police protection at her home on that evening. Mr. Plumb, wearing a green T-shirt, has been remanded in custody and is scheduled for a plea hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on November 3rd.

He faces allegations of soliciting, encouraging, persuading, attempting to persuade, or proposing to a third party to murder Holly Willoughby between October 3rd and 4th in Harlow. It is also alleged that between October 2nd and 5th, he was actively formulating a plan with a third party, encouraging that individual to travel to the UK to execute the plan, and assembling a kit for kidnapping and restraint capable of facilitating or assisting in the commission of the kidnapping of Holly Willoughby.

Detective Superintendent Rob Kirby of Essex Police issued a statement emphasizing the priority of safeguarding any potential victim and the collaborative effort with the Metropolitan Police Service in the ongoing investigation.

ITV, where Holly Willoughby is a prominent figure, expressed its shock and offered support to her and her family during this distressing time. Colleagues and friends on the show “This Morning” also conveyed their shock and solidarity with Holly. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and other television presenters extended their support and best wishes to Holly Willoughby, who has faced a challenging period in recent months.
