Adele announces 'random' Munich residency

Adele has announced a four-night residency in a specially-built stadium in Munich in August, labeling it as ‘random.’

The singer Adele will play four nights in a specially-built stadium in the German city in August.

The concerts are scheduled to occur at an open-air venue in a German city with a capacity of 80,000 people on August 2, 3, 9, and 10.

This marks the singer’s first performance in mainland Europe since her previous tour in 2016.

Initially, she had no plans for additional shows following her current Las Vegas residency and two London performances in 2022.

However, she revealed that she was enticed by the opportunity to perform at “a one-off, custom-designed pop-up stadium tailored to accommodate any show I desire,” situated “right in the heart of Europe.”

On social media, she expressed her excitement for spending her summer closer to home, marking the culmination of a beautiful phase in her life and career with shows. She concluded her message with a cheerful “Guten Tag babes x.”

Ticket registration remains open until February 5, with the pre-sale scheduled to commence on February 7.

The 35-year-old songstress is set to conclude her Las Vegas residency on June 15. Prior to that, she captivated audiences with two sold-out performances at Hyde Park in London in July 2022.

Her Vegas residency, which commenced in November 2022, had been delayed nearly a year due to her statement that it was “not ready.”

Adele, renowned for chart-toppers like “Easy On Me,” “Hello,” “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling in the Deep,” titled her albums after the age she was when they were recorded—namely, 19, 21, 25, and 30.
