Ripple moves millions of XRP, along with other players
Fintech giant Ripple Labs was spotted transferring a total of 50,000,000 XRP. This resulted in a flood of comments, with Twitter users trying to guess where the funds were going. Some believe that a small portion of Ripple’s XRP holdings could be sold. The funds were moved to his one of the company’s wallets RL18-VN. Typically used to move or sell XRP outside the company. It was also mentioned yesterday that he moved his 4.1 billion XRP from the Bittrex exchange to an anonymous wallet in a package of 300 million and his (mostly) 500 million, raising questions about the purpose and participants of this series of crypto transactions.

Of the remaining transfers here, two were made by Mexico-based Latin American exchange Bitso, the only cryptocurrency unicorn in the region. About 9 hours ago, we scooped up chunks of 35,600,000 XRP and 40,000,000 XRP. Bitso is one of Ripple’s ODL platforms and is actively promoting the use of this technology for money transfers across Latin America. The third transfer was made by an anonymous whale to his Bitstamp exchange. However, according to his Bithomp, an XRP wallet tracker, the sender’s wallet was found to be connected to his US-based Bittrex exchange.
