As 2023 draws to a close, Pakistani actor and former model Mikaal Zulfiqar shared valuable advice on finding a potential life partner during a guest appearance on a talk show hosted by actor Imran Ashraf. Emphasizing the significance of understanding and establishing a genuine connection with a person before contemplating marriage, Mikaal suggested taking the time to truly know the individual.
“I have one simple suggestion: get to know the person you’re planning to marry,” imparted the actor. “It’s crucial to familiarize yourself with the person before considering marriage,” he added, highlighting the importance of a thoughtful approach. Mikaal emphasized the need for a deliberate decision-making process and urged everyone to avoid rushing into marriage. “This decision should not be made hastily… Just understand the person and understand yourself,” he stressed.
Mikaal, who married Sara Bhatti in 2010, publicly announced their divorce in 2017 after a period of separation. In a Facebook post, he expressed the difficulty of the decision and acknowledged that despite efforts from both sides, reconciliation was not possible.
Additionally, Mikaal addressed the exploitation of Pakistani artists in the Indian film industry during an appearance on The Knock Knock Show in October. He highlighted the unequal treatment of Pakistani actors in Bollywood, stating that they are often made to portray roles that emphasize their nationality or are depicted in a manner that is not respectful. Mikaal voiced his preference for working in Pakistani films and shows, emphasizing the importance of equal opportunities for actors from both countries.
